EUROfusion is honored to be awarded the Women in Big Science Projects Recognition Award at the Big Science Business Forum 2024 for our commitment to fostering equality, diversity, and inclusion through our strategies and activities.
We made progress implementing steps described in our European workforce survey and development plan to advance diversity in all its form, including but not limited to gender, nationality, socioeconomic background and disabilities.
Our efforts, including the launch of the European Fusion Diversity Network and the Fusion Education and Learning Hub , aim to make fusion a more inclusive and accessible career path for all.
With over 5000+ fusion scientists, engineers, support staff and 1000+ students from 29 countries, we strive to provide equal opportunities for people of diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and experiences. This recognition highlights our dedication towards this effort.
