ITER is the world’s largest and most advanced fusion experiment. It will be the first magnetic confinement fusion device to produce a net surplus of thermal fusion energy. ITER is currently being built in southern France within an international collaboration between China, Europe, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and the USA.
